The Committee changed its focus from establishing just a water district to forming a community services district which would encompass a variety of community services, including water, sewer, garbage removal, graffiti removal, cable, parks and recreation, street lighting, and related services. December 2006
The Committee found themselves involved in another rate case with Cal/Am who this time wanted to consolidate with Sacramento.
September 2004
The Committee was granted Intervenor status by Administrative Law Judge Christine Walwyn. As Intervenor’s in the rate case the Committee was successful at reducing the rate increase from approximately 38% to 7% and the request to consolidate was denied.
April 2004
The current Committee become deeply involved in the rate case filed by Cal-Am with the CPUC in April 2004.
March 2004
The formation of the current Committee which consists of: Daryl Anderson, Jim Bajgrowicz, Pete Lescure, Doug Williams and Jim Bouler.
June 2002
Brelje and Race Engineers completed first Feasibility Study on district formation.
June 1998
The original Larkfield/Wikiup Water District Advisory Committee was appointed by Supervisor Paul Kelley.
